AIMOLI AML518 Water Microplastics Analyzer Wins First Prize at the 2026 Hebei International Industrial Design Week
AIMOLI’s independently developed AML518 Water Microplastics Fully Automatic Analyzer has won First Prize in the Product Category at the Shijiazhuang Sub-venue of the 2026 Hebei International Industrial Design Week. The award recognizes the product’s design, technological innovation, and practical application value in water microplastics detection and analysis.

On September 29, the Shijiazhuang Sub-venue of the 2026 Hebei International Industrial Design Week was held. AIMOLI showcased its AML518 Water Microplastics Fully Automatic Analyzer, highlighting its technological innovations for automated water microplastics detection, image recognition, data analysis, and digital reporting.
The award marks another milestone for AIMOLI in the development of professional equipment for water microplastics detection and environmental monitoring.
AML518 Designed for Automated Water Microplastics Detection
Microplastic pollution has received increasing attention in environmental research and water quality monitoring. As research into microplastics continues to expand, laboratories and environmental monitoring organizations are placing greater demands on detection efficiency, data processing, and the standardization of analytical procedures.
The AML518 Water Microplastics Fully Automatic Analyzer was developed to address these needs. The system combines automated detection equipment with professional analysis software, integrating multiple stages of the microplastics analysis process into a unified workflow.
The system supports functions including sample detection, image recognition, data analysis, and digital presentation of test results. By integrating these processes, the AML518 is designed to reduce manual operations and improve the efficiency and consistency of water microplastics analysis.
AIMOLI Demonstrates AML518 at the Industrial Design Week
During the event, Qingguo.Song, a representative of AIMOLI, introduced the AML518 Water Microplastics Fully Automatic Analyzer to visitors and industry participants.
Qingguo.Song explained the equipment’s detection workflow, automated analysis functions, and data processing capabilities. The operation of the instrument and its supporting software was also demonstrated at the event, allowing visitors to see how testing data can be collected, analyzed, and presented through the integrated system.
The demonstration showed the connection between the detection instrument and computer-based analysis software. Data generated during the detection process can be further processed and analyzed through the software, while relevant testing data, images, and analytical results can be displayed on the screen.
This provides users with a more intuitive view of the water microplastics detection and analysis process, while demonstrating how automation and digital technologies can be applied to microplastics testing.
Improving Efficiency and Digitalization in Microplastics Analysis
According to Qingguo.Song, microplastics detection is a highly specialized process. As scientific research and environmental monitoring requirements continue to grow, testing equipment needs to provide higher levels of automation, improved detection efficiency, and stronger data analysis capabilities.
By combining automated instrumentation with analysis software, the AML518 aims to make the microplastics testing process more efficient and convenient while reducing the workload associated with manual operation and data analysis.
The approach also supports the broader development of standardized, digital, and intelligent microplastics detection workflows, providing equipment support for scientific research, environmental monitoring, and related testing applications.
Recognition for Product Design and Technological Innovation
Winning First Prize in the Product Category at the Shijiazhuang Sub-venue of the 2026 Hebei International Industrial Design Week reflects recognition of the AML518’s product design and innovation achievements.
For AIMOLI, the award also highlights the company’s ongoing exploration in the research, development, and application of water microplastics detection equipment.
Industrial design extends beyond product appearance. It also involves the integration of technical functions, user experience, operational efficiency, and practical application value. By focusing on the real-world requirements of water microplastics detection, AIMOLI has incorporated automation and digital technologies into its analytical equipment.
AIMOLI Continues to Develop Intelligent Environmental Testing Solutions
As water environment monitoring requirements continue to develop and research into microplastics advances, automated and intelligent testing technologies are expected to become increasingly important in scientific research, environmental monitoring, and related laboratory applications.
AIMOLI will continue to focus on the research and development of microplastics detection technologies and related analytical equipment, with the goal of providing professional, automated, and intelligent solutions for water environment testing and environmental monitoring.
