I Didn’t Want to Look at My Computer During the Holiday, But I Did Anyway
Yesterday, I went to the park.
Today, I took a walk by the river.
It’s the National Day holiday, and honestly, I haven’t wanted to look at a computer at all.
My neck has been bothering me.
My eyes are tired, too.
For once, I just want to step away from the screen and enjoy a few days outside.
And yet, there’s something funny about me.
After spending the day outside, even when I come home feeling completely exhausted, I somehow end up sitting in front of my computer again.
And strangely enough, I don’t feel more tired.
I actually feel energized.
Maybe it’s because checking my website has quietly become part of my daily routine.
I open the analytics, check the traffic, see how many pages Google has indexed, and look at my keyword rankings.
I tell myself I’m just taking a quick look.
But before I know it, I’m already back in work mode.
I guess some habits don’t really take a holiday.
